Got a PDF sitting on your computer - a report, a paper, an ebook?
Upload it to Cluing and you can highlight it, comment on it, and save snippets from it, just like any webpage.
To upload a PDF directly from your computer:
Go to your Dashboard
Click Reader in the left sidebar
Select Upload Document
Pick the PDF file from your computer
Choose how it's saved
Before the upload finishes, Cluing asks how you want to read the file:
Text Document - converts the PDF into clean, structured text. Best for text-heavy reading like papers, reports, and ebooks.
Regular PDF - keeps the original layout exactly as it is in the file. Best when the layout carries meaning: slide decks, scans, invoices, anything with charts or columns.
Once the upload is done, your Document opens in Reader, and it's yours to work with - you can start working on your document, the same way you would on any webpage.
It also stays put. Every file you upload is kept in your document history, so you can reopen it weeks later without hunting for the original on your hard drive.
