Where Can You Use Cluing?

All the Ways to Use It

Written by Gordana Laskovic

Cluing isn't tied to one tab, one app, or one device.

Wherever you're reading, researching, or thinking, there's a version of Cluing that fits - a browser extension for the moment you find something worth saving, a phone app for when inspiration hits mid-scroll, and a full dashboard for when you sit down to actually organize and connect your ideas.

Here's a full rundown of where you can find Cluing, and where to go if you want the step-by-step for each one.

On the Web: Your Dashboard

Your Dashboard at app.cluing.io is home base. This is where every Topic, snippet, and comment you've saved lives in one place, where you can build out Buckets and Clusters, and where the deeper organizing and thinking happens. If you're switching between devices or just want the full picture of your knowledge base, the Dashboard is where you start.

As a Browser Extension

Most of what you'll want to save shows up while you're already browsing, so Cluing lives right in your browser toolbar. One click and a webpage, article, or thread becomes a snippet in your Topics.

The extension works on:

  • Chrome - and any Chromium-based browser, including Opera, Brave, and Arc

  • Edge

  • Firefox

On Mobile: The Cluing App

For everything you come across on your phone - a TikTok worth revisiting, a Substack post, a PDF someone sent you - there's a native Cluing app for both iOS and Android.

Log in and your Topics and snippets are right there, synced with everything you've saved elsewhere.

On Mobile: The Browser Extension

Prefer saving straight from your mobile browser instead of the app? Cluing's extension is also available for mobile, so you can highlight and save content without switching apps.

Pick What Fits Your Day

Most people end up using a mix - the extension for quick saves while browsing, the app for catching things on the go, and the Dashboard for the moments they actually want to sit down and organize their thinking.

There's no wrong entry point. 😄 Install what matches how you already work, and the rest of Cluing follows you there.
